Product Training

TIS Manufacturing recognises the value on developing skills required by the clients to effectively operate new and, or used equipment manufactured or supplied by TIS. For this reason TIS has designed various training programs relevant to the product lines which can be tailored to meet with client expectations.

The training programs provide first-hand knowledge of our products' capabilities and features, enabling customers to improve productivity, and achieve optimum equipment performance. Industry statistics strongly suggests that training is the most balanced 'Preventative' measure for ensuring the Safety and wellbeing of the staff. Additional benefits of TIS training are improved efficiency, boosted employee confidence, lower maintenance costs and most importantly competent personnel.

The comprehensive training packages are categorised into three levels :

  • hands on training
  • class room training
  • onsite training

The training incorporates fundamental principles of safety, operations, maintenance and repair. In addition to our valuable technical information, delegates will receive course material consisting of a manual and CD for easy reference.

Training can be evaluated by providing assessments to ensure trainee competence in both written and practical operation and knowledge of our products. These assessments can be carried out in the classroom or at the place of work.

Hands on training

Your staff arrive onsite to register at reception and be given a Safety Induction before entering the workshop. All delegates shall be escorted to the designated training area to participate in a Factory Acceptance Test of one our products. Delegates shall be supervised at all times by our team of experienced technicians, and must comply with all site safety rules. All visitors are expected to provide their own Personal Protection Equipment. (Safety Hat, Safety Boots, Safety Glasses.)

Class room

Our experienced engineers using a combination of course training materials, including power points slides, manuals and computer modelling (Inventor 3D), will guide your staff through our product specification and operation. Safety first, being our guiding principle. The information will also take into account the maintenance program, with a step by step guide of replacing serviceable items, extending to frequency and trouble shooting any common fault denominators.

Onsite training

We send our engineers and technician to your site to deliver hands-on training as part of a Site Integration Test for the product. This will give the delegates the opportunity to learn the skills and expertise needed for deploying the product in the field, as well as analyzing any problems arising from 'Third Party' product interfaces, that may occur during the operation.

Each delegate will receive an attendance certificate and where a written examination has been successful a competence certificate will be issued by TIS Manufacturing. The certificate will clearly reference equipment model for which the competence has been gained.

Courses are provided upon request and programs can be developed to meet customer's specific needs. For further information please contact our Sales Department
