TIS currently has two pressure testing bays. The largest one is used for testing risers/lubricators of up to 20 feet in length. It is also utilised for testing of wireline valves and other pressure control surface equipment products. They both have camera’s for remote monitoring, during pressure testing of equipment. Pressure testing can be done up to a maximum of 22,500 psi.

TIS carry an extensive range of test caps, to cover most quick unions etc. In addition, all pressure testing is documented via chart recorder systems and all Pressure testing can be witnessed by a designated third party if required.

TIS has a QA/inspection department with an extensive range of measuring equipment, and thread gauges to provide our re-certification services. We have two main packages for surface pressure control items :

• `Annual’ certification

  
  
  

  This package ensures that our customer’s equipment is serviced on a yearly basis, new items replaced if required, and then pressure testing is carried out.





• `Major’ certification

  
  
  

  This package ensures that our customer’s equipment has an extensive overhaul after every five years. This entails a complete strip down, dimensional inspection, replace new components if required, re-dress with new elastomers and a final pressure test. In addition a Inspection report manual is provided.

In both cases the pressure testing is documented via a chart recorder. Third party witness is available if required. These packages ensure that TIS customers equipment, will always be `fit for purpose’.

TIS provides both a Fluid and System Flushing Service. Purpose-built unique all Stainless Steel Flushing Rig with 3 independent reservoirs.

Procedures to flush mineral oils and water glycol fluids to NAS 1638 and ISO 4406.

All samples are verified, tagged and held for one year.

Full certification is provided. Old fluids disposed of as per our environmentally friendly policy.
