Preservation & Protection
With today's challenging operational conditions which take into account the environment, location, application and chemical imbalance, equipment protection and preservation have become increasingly important considerations within TIS-Manufacturing's design review process. The team at TIS work extremely close with the customer to determine the environmental conditions of each application with a view to offering solutions that extends the life cycle by reducing, mitigating or protecting against chemical or aggressive solution attack. The TIS pressure control equipment is primarily manufactured from NACE MR 0175 materials which is recommended for H2S Sour Service applications. Fabricated products using BS12079 / DNV 2.7-1 design materials are protected with a two coat epoxy primer finished with a RAL top coat as standard for TIS equipment. Client requirements take precedence of all TIS standard preservation & protection requirements.Maximising equipment longevity on standard TIS products comes from a range of coatings such as two pack epoxy primer coating, phosphating, nitriding, zylon and powder coatings. Quick union connections installed by TIS come fitted with precision moulded hard wearing durable rubber & nylon caps which increase thread protection during transit & storage.
