TIS Umbilical Reeler Units are purpose-designed and built for use in safely dispensing and retrieving multi-core umbilical hose for sub-sea applications. A combination of steel panels and stainless steel doors are provided all round the frame to enclose working parts. All panels that require access are hinged and are fitted with failsafe cut-out valves that ensure the reel cannot be driven with any of the doors open. The reels are provided with pressure gauges to allow the operator to monitor downhole pressure and isolator valves and gauges for all lines. Stab plates can be provided and fitted for hook up to control units.
