TIS Liquid Seal Stuffing Boxes are designed to seal and contain well pressure around stationary or moving wire during slickline operations. They are especially suitable for intervention work on high pressure wells where optimum toolstring weight is essential and on gas wells, where hydrate formation can result in conventional stuffing boxes "freezing up". TIS Liquid Seal Stuffing Boxes are designed to be small, lightweight and operator-friendly. Their compact size makes them particularly useful where height restrictions may be a problem. The operator friendly design makes it very simple for wire installation and assembly on the deck while its lightweight construction facilitates easy installation to the lubricator after the rope socket has been tied and attached to the toolstring. During operations the low friction internal components, used in conjunction with the composite sheave wheel, significantly increases the field life of the wire. The unique internal components are designed to be environmentally friendly by reducing waste grease returns to an absolute minimum.
